Watch Manny Pacquiao train

Here is a short video clip from Yahoo Sports on how the Philippine Champ trains.  Together with Team Pacquiao, Manny showed his skills doing mitts with coach Freddie Roach assisted by Buboy Fernandez.  Alex Ariza, Pacquiao's conditioning trainer was also there at the Elorde Boxing Gym in Quezon City, Philippines.  Manny Pacquiao is now in Baguio City, Philippines where he continues to train in preparation for the November 13 match against the Tijuana Tornado, Antonio Margarito.

Can Margarito Knock out Pacquiao?

The Tijuana Tornado was once known as a dangerous fighter in the ring, but everything had changed since his bout to Sugar Shane Mosley.  He was knock out on the 9th round and was even caught with an illegal plaster on his gloves before the fight started.  With or with out the plaster, do you think Antonio Margarito still has the hype and the power to knock out Manny Pacquiao?

As we all know, boxing is a thrilling sport.  Anyone can bring down his opponent if he can get a lucky shot.  That is what they are trained for.  Margarito is a taller fighter against Manny Pacquiao, standing 5'11" while Manny stands 5'6".  So definitely, Margarito can knock Manny out when he gets the chance.  No doubt about it.  Margarito's strength is stronger than Manny, for he is much bigger and taller.  But Manny's strength and speed is another factor.  Manny Pacquiao has proved some spectators and guru's wrong.  When he stepped up to canvas with a bigger weight class.  They thought Manny's speed and power would not stay the same, yet Manny prove them wrong.  He has win over bigger and stronger guys who have been dominant in their weight class, namely, Oscar De la Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Miguel Cotto.  All these fight ended with a knockout.

As Manny Pacquiao faces the tallest opponent through out his career and aims to win his 8th world champion belt, surely Manny will give it his best shot.  Manny Pacquiao has 12 winning streak since he last loss to Eric Morales.

On the other hand, Mexican figher Giovani Segura 25-1-1 with 21 KO's a WBA junior flyweight Champion said that Antonio Margarito can knockout Manny Pacquiao.  Here is a video from Fanhouse.com an interview with Giovanni Segura.  Segura's last fight was against Puerto Rican boxer Ivan Calderon.  The fight ended with a huge technical knock out in the first round.

Does Manny Pacquiao have Arthritis?

The Filipino Champion has been huge a endorser for different brands.  From shoes, to apparels, to liquor and even medical products.  Manny Pacquiao endorses one of the popular medicine brand for arthritis and he also thinks that he suffers the disease.  Would that be true?  Pacquiao felt that he had the disease when he experienced pain in his hands after eating bean sprout in a Japanese Restaurant.  The same pain he felt on his left foot.

Manny Pacquiao was rushed to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in Greenhills, San Juan City, Philippines.  Pacquiao suffered from an intense pain on his left foot while working on his training for the upcoming fight against the Mexican, Antonio Margarito on November 13 at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

Manny Pacquiao's coach Freddie Roach and strength and conditioning trainer Alex Ariza were pretty concerned for Manny's state.  Alex Ariza wanted to make things clear and know what did Manny go through and insisted to talk to the physician.  “I want the number of your doctor.  I need to talk to him.  I want to know what’s wrong. Why?  Because that’s what I’m here for.  That’s what you’re paying me for.  I need to know what’s wrong so I can fix it,” said Ariza.

However, Manny will continue to train in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines.  After which, Team Pacquiao will then fly to Los Angeles to continue its training at the Wildcard Gym in Los Angeles.

UFC Fighter, St-Pierre: Pacquiao is a threat to Mayweather

UFC welterweight champion and also MMA's  pound for pound king Georges St-Pierre says that Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao  will prevail against Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. when both will meet in the ring.  The UFC Champion is here in the Philippines where he vowed fans and mixed martial arts enthusiasts.  In a press conference he said that Pacquiao will win over Mayweather.  "Knowing Pacquiao is a big, big threat to him, I think he doesn't want to have that fight because he has a lot to lose," St-Pierre added.  The UFC Champion has a lot of praises for Manny Pacquiao.  "I think Pacquiao is really untouchable right now.  If they hold that fight maybe tomorrow I think Pacquiao will win,"  said St-Pierre.

When St-Pierre was asked about the possibility of Manny Pacquiao in UFC and if Pacquiao could dominate mixed martial arts, St-Pierre simply said that the boxing champ may not make it big in the sport.  "Boxing is totally different from what we do, but if he would take lessons in jujitsu, he may get a shot at it.  But I doubt he'll do it."

St-Pierre also acknowledged Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach.  Roach has been training both Pound-for-pound king's in boxing and mix martial arts at Quezon City Gym.  "I owe a lot to him (Freddie Roach)," St-Pierre said.  "He showed me how to win.  He taught me what I need to do in the Octagon to be come a champion.  He guided me to where I am today."

St-Pierre has an upcoming fight against Josh Koscheck in December, a welterweight title match.  He is very positive that he could win against Koscheck.  "I think I know him more than he knows himself,"  St-Pierre said.

Margarito's trainer says Pacquiao will get Knocked Out

Antonio Margarito's trainer Roberto Garcia believes that they know how to beat the Filipino Champion, Manny Pacquiao.  Paquiao will have a major trouble the moment he steps in the ring against the Tijuana Tornado.  "We've been watching a lot of Manny's fight and we know  exactly how to attack him," Roberto said to Joseph Padullon of fightchronicles.com.  Roberto Garcia was watching more of the fights from Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto.

Roberto Garcia is confident that they have already solved the puzzle on how to beat the Pound-for-pound King Manny Pacquiao.  Garcia even predicted the fights result.  "11th-round knockout.  This isn't going to just be a win for Margarito, this is going to be a beat down we put on him," Garcia said.  "A big time beating is what we got for Manny Pacquiao," Garcia added.

Roach: Margarito will fall at the eighth round

Hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach is very confident that his ward Manny "the Pacman" Pacquiao will stop Margarito on the eighth round.  Freddie Roach has been predicting every Pacquiao fight and his prediction has been close to accurate.  Roach stress out that Margarito will hit the canvass "inside eight rounds".

Freddie Roach believes that if Manny executes the fight plan well, it will be a win for the Filipino Boxing Champion.  Roach said that "I'd be disappointed if we don't knock him out," in his appearance at the Philippines Sportswriters Association weekly forum at Shakey's, reported by the Philstar.com.

Freddie Roach also will make sure that Antonio Margarito won't be wearing those illegal plasters on the fight, saying "I'll be the one to check on that."  Roach seems to know the Tijuana Tornado Antonio Margarito well and he knows that Margarito fights dirty.  "We're working on that, the elbows, head butts.  We need to keep Manny out of that position," said Roach. Roach added that "We're going to use a lot of angles for this fight.  And if Manny fights the way he fights, we can take that (risk) away and it won't be a problem."

Freddie Roach with Manny Pacquiao's spar-mates, Glen Tapia and Michael "Murder man" Medina are set to give the best work out and training inside the ring.

Political Duties, delays Baguio training for Manny

The Sarangani Rep. Manny "the Pacman" Pacquiao has been torn between boxing and politics.  Manny Pacquaio assured his constituents not worry for he won't neglect his legislative duties.  Manny Pacquiao as promised, serves his people first in Sarangani to secure the project budgets before leaving for training in Baguio City.

The hearing for the budget of provincial projects will be on September 22, Wednesday.  So, instead of moving to Baguio City on September 20, Monday-yesterday, has been canceled to Thursday.  Manny Pacquiao will leave Philippines for USA on October 20, where he would stay until the fight against the Tijuana Tornado, Antonio Margarito on November 13 takes place.

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach said that Manny Pacquiao should focus more on boxing first at this point and if necessary Pacquaio can do legislative works on weekends if it is really urgent.  Though Manny Pacquiao has been busy with politics, Roach still sees Manny Pacquiao in fighting form and has not missed a beat.

Manny Pacquiao starts training with Freddie Roach

Just days ago Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach arrived in Philippines, together with Manny Pacquiao's spare mate, the undefeated Glen Tapia and Michael "Murder Man" Medina.  Manny Pacquiao will be ready for his fight against the Mexican, Tijuana Tornado Antonio Margarito.  The seven division world champion aims for the welterweight championship title fight.

Freddie Roach also is confident that within seven weeks Manny Pacquiao will be in great shape.  "The tornado's gonna be downsized by the tropical typhoon.  I promise you," Roach said.

Glen Tapia and Michael Medina will spare with Manny Pacquiao in his training.  Both fighters are taller than Manny Pacquiao, for Antonio Margarito is four inches taller than Manny.  "We're here for business to get the Pacman ready for the fight," said Glen Tapia.

Margarito's Reach advantage could win the fight?

The only thing that Antonio Margarito has to win against Manny Pacquiao is his height advantage.  We may see a lot of tall guys who fought Pacquiao before and with out question, Manny Pacquiao dominated them all.  Guys like Juan Diaz and Oscar De la Hoya, even huge boxers like Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey were disposed by the Filipino Champion.

What would it take for Antonio Margarito to win? if Margarito will play smart, like giving jabs frequently - it'll be a huge factor.  Margarito stands 5'11", while Manny Pacquiao is only 5'6", and Margarito is the tallest opponent that Manny Pacquiao had ever fought before.  Height and reach advantage is factor in boxing, but with an opponent like Manny Pacquiao, it'll be gone.  His quickness to move anywhere in the ring is the biggest threat, Why? cause Margarito will find it hard to hit Manny with a strong punch.  Margarito has to find a way to keep his distance against Pacman.  Margarito should change his previous style, like slugging his opponent.  It'll make things easy for Manny Pacquiao.  Like the Hatton-Pacquiao fight,  Hatton's aggressiveness made the fight quick.

Antonio Margarito must keep his eyes and feet moving when fighting Manny Pacquiao.  He must know every move Manny Pacquiao will do in the ring, to keep him away from Manny's thunderous punches.  Margarito should keep the distance but must not stay away at all times.  Keeping the distance but at the same time throwing Jabs, he needs to be technically smart.

Antonio Margarito also needs to focus on more with counter punching, to keep Manny Pacquaio from attacking vigorously.  A great fight example would be Juan Manual Marquez's style.  If Pacquiao attacks, he attacks, but he needs to maintain every momentum.  Problem is, that Margarito doesn't move that quick in the ring.  That is what he should be eying for in his training.

Pacquiao expresses sympathy to Hatton

The Filipino Champion Manny Pacquiao was saddened hearing about Ricky "the Hitman" Hatton's depression.  Hatton had been seen on a video snorting Cocaine, he has been addicted since he lost the fight against Manny Pacquiao.  Hatton has been addicted to drugs and was also reported to have drinking problems.

Manny Pacquiao expressed his sincerity saying that he feels bad about what happened and he hopes that Ricky Hatton will change.  Ricky Hatton had never moved on from his lost to Manny last May 2009.  It was the worst beating in his career, Hatton suffered to early knockouts in round one and was stopped by a huge left hook by Manny Pacquiao on the second round.  It happened so quick that Ricky Hatton didn't even noticed what hit him.

While training at the Elorde Gym in Quezon, Manny Pacquiao has an advice to Hatton that he should renew his faith to God, saying "Don't tell God that you have a great problem but tell your problem that you have a great God."

From a report from BBC Radio, Hatton was said to be devastated.  "He's upset and very down as you'd imagine," Max Clifford, his spokesman said on the show.  "He said he feels he's let everyone down: himself, family, friends and the many fans who have been nothing but supportive."

Pacquiao wasn't the only lost Hatton had.  His first lost came from Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. when he climbed to welterweight division, where he was also knocked out on the 10th round.  But it was Manny Pacquiao's loss that made a huge impact to his career.  Both fighter fought in the 140lbs, where Ricky Hatton is said to be unbeaten.

Ricky Hatton addicted to Cocaine

A reliable source has released an issue involving the former champion Ricky the Hitman Hatton.  In the post, it says that Ricky Hatton was mentally disrupted after he suffered a loss from the Filipino Champion, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.  A close friend of Ricky Hatton has told a story that Hatton began the use of cocaine just after his loss to Manny Pacquiao.  Hatton  fell in a deep depression after the Pacquiao fight.  He find it hard to redeem his career.

Videos of Hatton are spreading on different websites, were he is snorting cocaine.  It was posted on British tabloids where Hatton was engaged to Cocaine.  A British source newspaper The Mirror posted that "He's now vowed to get himself clean.  He'll go into a rehab clinic very soon and he has support of Jen and the rest of his family."  "He is very down, devastated.  In fact, he had a tearful talk with Jennifer (Hatton's fiancee) and held his hands up.  This has been coming for some time and everyone around him is hoping it's a wake-up call.  Ricky is disgusted with him self.  He feels he has let himself, his family, his friends and his fans down."

Unlucky 13 for Pacquiao-Mayweather?

Are you a superstitious person?  Well if you do, then you definitely know that 13 is an unlucky and  evil number as what others may say.  All depends really on what you believe right?  But do you notice every Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. negotiations?  Both fights are dated on the 13th and both ended up with replacement fights.

The first time both boxers should meet was on March 13, 2010.  Do you still remembered that time?  Where Floyd Mayweather Jr. wanted  Random Drug testing that forced Manny Pacquiao to say NO.  Psychologically, Manny Pacquiao thinks he would get weak if blood is taken from his body before the fight.  Mayweather believes that Manny was into Performance Enhancing Drugs or is well known for steroids.  That is why he wants it or is it just Floyd's way of avoiding?  This has been the never ending allegations between both fighters.   Pacquiao thinks that if he agrees to the request Mayweather will have an advantage in the fight mentally.  Mayweather loves giving his opponents mind games.  His a wise man.

The fight was then canceled.  Manny Pacquiao had to face a different opponent, Joshua Clottey in Dallas Cowboys Stadium.  Manny was victorious of the fight.  Leaving the Ghanaian warrior covering up every punches coming from the Filipino Champion.

Then the second attempt came which is set on November 13, 2010.  Another date set for the said to be the fight in boxing history, Pacquiao-Mayweather.  People were thinking that it would happen this time for different news and speculations coming from Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter and HBO boxing that they have been contacting with Golden Boy promotions.  Fans where waiting for Mayweather's call and Manny Pacquiao had already agreed with the Olympic Style Drug Testing.  Arum even gave Mayweather a deadline date for Mayweather to sign the contract for the fight.

Yet, with much surprise, it was all frustrations.  Floyd Mayweather Jr. was denying the fact that negotiations were taking place.  From Mayweather's statement it made Arum and HBO lier's.  It was a big disaster, a very controversial issue that ended up Mayweather losing.  From his actions being done, it became obvious to most people that he was avoiding to fight Manny Pacquiao.  With every allegations pushed to Mayweather, it has cost him his reputation.  Then it ends again.

Now we have another fight on the 13th of November, a replacement fight.  As usual, Manny Pacquiao doesn't say no to any fight as long as it is in his weight class.  The said fight is against Antonio Margarito.  The Tijuana Tornado now has the chance to redeem himself from his controversial boxing career.  The former Champion was involved in an illegal hand-wrapping case with his fight with Sugar Shane Mosley.  Yes, its frustrating to hear about it.  People are even saying he doesn't deserve any chance.  Well this is better than no fight at all. And guess what? the fight will take place in the Dallas Cowboy Stadium, again!.

Would you consider it Ironic that the fight will still take place in Dallas Cowboy Stadium?  Well, we have no choice, Margarito was only granted in Texas for his license and that is the main reason for it.  What about the date 13?  If Pacquiao-Mayweather will have its third attempt, how about if we set it on another date except 13,  would think that would make any difference?  Well, if Floyd Mayweather Jr. really wants to fight, the Place and the Date wouldn't matte,.  right?  If he really wants the fight? He could have it anywhere and in anytime.

So much for Bad luck.  Let us just hope that Mayweather will clear up his mind for it is all up to the guy.  Manny is willing to fight the him and it is him that has problem with the fight.  Right?  So like old times, well have to be patient again for next time.

Whats happening to Floyd? Mayweather beats a woman.

From last weeks issues and news, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was accused for being a racist from his video which he had taped via Ustream.  On the video, Floyd was commenting on Manny Pacquiao telling harsh words to the Filipino Champion.

The video gain much criticism for the American Champion.  However Floyd Mayweather made another video, this time he apologizes to everyone.

Now, Floyd Mayweather is again the headline of the news.  Mayweather facing another scandalous situation were he was accused for Domestic Violence.  Whats wrong with "Prettyboy"?  Whats wrong with "Money"?  He has been into worst cases this month.

Cops arrived in Floyd Mayweather's home in Las Vegas cause they have received a call at 5:03 AM coming from Baby Mama, Josie Harris.  Harris claimed that she was attacked by the boxer.  The cops didn't see Mayweather and is looking forward to Interview the boxer of what really happened.

Would this be true?  Lets wait till Mayweather speaks up about the situation.  It was said that last 2003, Harris also accused Mayweather for punching her but that case was dismissed for Harris testified that she was lying because she was angry with Mayweather that time for having another woman.  However, a man who witnessed said he heard a women screaming like she was being murdered.  He also said that he saw a person in front of the house and then noticed two cars speeding off.

How Margarito will beat Pacquiao?

Manny Pacquiao out-boxed De la Hoya
In the boxing era today, Manny Pacquiao is considered to be the boxer to beat.  With his on going winning streak and having beaten world class fighters, Manny Pacquiao is considered to be one dangerous fighter.

On Manny Pacquiao's November 13 fight, he is said to be the favorite.  Boxing insiders are in favor that the Filipino Boxing Champion will win over the Tijuana Tornado, Antonio Margarito.  The main reason for it is Manny's agility, his quickness to move in the ring and lightning speed of his hands.  But how can you beat Manny Pacquiao? How can Margarito win over Manny Pacquiao?

I have read from a source, The Filipino boxing journal different ways on how Antonio Margarito can defeat the seven division world champion, Manny Pacquiao.  Here are what different experts had to say with their upcoming fight.;

Lorne Scoggins, boxing writer for 8 Count News and Examiner.com
I’d tell him to box. Use the reach advantage and every time Pacquiao attacks, get the heck away from him. Don’t get caught in exchanges with him. Land your shots from the outside and slide away when he tries to retaliate.

John “Iceman” Scully, former light heavyweight contender
I would probably tell him to overwork his jab. Keep constant pressure on but without neglecting the jab as he often does. But I don’t think he will follow my plan.

Stacy “Goodnight” Goodson, professional boxer and trainer
I think you beat pressure with pressure. He has to throw nonstop punches. Manny is not a big stylist. He is however in the best shape possible. So Margarito should be in better shape than ever. I would tell him, “if you get hit once, hit him (Pacquiao) twice.”

Anges Adjaho, lightweight contender and former African intercontinental lightweight champion
I’d tell Margarito to use his height and reach advantage and keep Pacquiao from coming in.

Matt Stolow, boxing writer for Examiner.com and boxing promoter
Margarito’s five – inch height advantage is enormous at 151 lbs. His reach is also much longerI’d tell him to To use his natural advantages – his jab, height and probably strength and weight.

Shannon States, boxing trainer
It would be very wise for Margarito to keep Pac on the end of the jab. Margarito needs to press and cut the ring off, but it is important that he do so behind the jab. If Margo engages too much, he’ll get beat to the punch.

It is pretty clear what the a lot of boxing experts think. Margarito needs to fight tall and extensively use his jab if he is to beat Pacquiao. But will Margarito play the outside game rather than engage? Highly unlikely. One thing is for sure though, nobody will be backing down come fight night.

Online source: The Filipino boxing journal

For Antonio Margarito to win, he must make use of his height advantage.  His long arms will be a big factor in fighting Manny Pacquioa.  He must be packed up with air to keep up with Manny's agility and most of all, avoid Manny when he begins to attack, continuous jabbing will help Margarito seal the fight.

Pacquiao will train in Manila

Fulfilling his duties as an elected Congressman in Sarangani, Manny Pacquiao chooses to train in Manila instead in Texas.  This was announced when the Pound-for-pound king arrived in Philippines after their successful tour in promoting his fight with Antonio Margarito.

Due to his duties as a Congressman can Manny Pacquiao do well in his training?  Knowing Manny Pacquiao, he usually works hard in the Gym.  He trains seriously and works hard on the gym when he always have a fight.  Pacquiao gives his best as what Alex Ariza his condition trainer always said.  Manny is a beast when it comes to training.  No wonder the steroids issue was made up, which for me is definitely a false accusation.  Most people who have known and seen Manny Pacquiao will argue about that issue.  Like the saying goes, Hard work pays off.

Moreover, according to Manny Pacquiao's business manager Eric Pineda that Rizal Governor Casimiro Ynares Jr. offered Manny to train Ynares Sports Center in Pasig.  Governor Casimiro who is a fan of Manny Pacquaio also promised to include all facilities and equipments for his training.  Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza wanted Manny to train in Baguio City, where he was trained during his fight with Clottey.

Pacquiao said that he would begin his training by jogging, "I will start training this week by jogging."  With the fight just two month away, can Manny Pacquiao do his duties both in and out of the ring?  Lets see about.  Stay tune for more updates.

Roach assures no illegal wraps for Margarito

Hall of fame boxing trainer Freddie Roach will make sure that Antonio Margarito will posses no illegal hand wraps on the November 13 fight against Pound-for-pound King Manny Pacquiao.  Freddie said that he will not blink an eye when he will be watching Antonio Margarito's hand wraps before the fight, "I will be there when they start doing the wrap." "I assure you that there won't be anything illegal this time," Roach added.

Roach wants to make sure that the incident of which Antonio Margarito was involve about the illegal hand wrapping, will not happen.  It was when Antonio Margarito and Shane Mosley fought last January 2009.  Nazim Richardson, Sugar Shane's trainer had found a Plaster of Paris inserted in Margarito's wraps by Javier Capetillo. The incident cost Margarito's license.

However, Antonio Margarito was granted license in Texas.  Margarito had already served a full year ban.  With a license in Texas, the fight will take place in Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Arlington.

Pacquiao-Mayweather won't happen - Roach

Hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach has told Jose Aguirre from BoxingScene.com on an interview about the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.  Aguirre asked Roach if he believes Mayweather will accept the fight with Manny Pacquiao?  Freddie simply said "No."  Freddie thinks that Mayweather wants to keep it that way, to retain the Zero loss on his card.

He has been in the sport for so long, so he definitely knows what his talking about.  When he was asked Why?  Freddie Roach replied "He waits for Manny to sign a contract with someone else, so he doesn't have to be pressured into fighting Pacquiao.  He wants to keep the zero on his record so he can argue that he's the best fighter in the world.  So he can say that he's better than Sugar Ray Robinson.  As long as has that zero, he can make an argument, but once that zero is gone, the argument is over."  Definitely true right?  Freddie said it perfectly.  Their is nothing to argue about.  People really wants to see Mayweather have his first loss in the game.  That is so true, everyone wants to see how good Mayweather is and that is why the fans want to see a fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Freddie Roach cant seem to understand Floyd Mayweather Jr., for even the best fighter in the history of the sport were beaten several times.  "A loss is part of life.  A loss can make you better.  Actually, it's good to lose sometimes in our lives to improve ourselves, to get a wake up call.  In Floyd's little mind, he's content with that zero.  How can he say that he's better than Sugar Ray Robinson at this point in his life? Robinson had a couple hundred fights out there.  He's a master of the game and he was a better welterweight than he was a middleweight.  But we only have tape him as a great middleweight.  We never really saw the best of him," Roach added.

Mayweather knows that if he would be beaten it will be big slap on his face.  The unblemished record is so far the greatest asset he has in his career and when that zero will be gone, it'll be a huge upset.  Is Mayweather Jr. really hesitant to fight the Filipino Champion?

In the last part of the interview, Roach said that "But when he compares himself to those type of guys, it doesn't sit with me too well because he won't even fight the best guys out there today.  He actually ducked Margarito a couple of years ago also.  He was offered a lot of money to fight him twice and ducked him.  He picks and chooses his opponents and if that's what he's going to be happy with, so be it."

Roach is right, we can't argue about it.  Way back when Margarito was a champion he wanted that fight.  But it didn't happen.  After Mayweather's fight with Ricky Hatton he retired, yet came back to the sport and fought Juan Manuel Marquez.  He may have fought Sugar Shane Mosley, but the older Shane.

I was always thinking way did Floyd left the Top Rank Promotions?  Maybe because he knows that Bob Arum will make the Margarito and Mayweather fight back then.  Because Antonio Margarito was under Arum's banner also.  The fight would have been made easy, don't you think?

But I'm still hoping that the fight would happen, it will surely be the best fight in this generation.  A battle of Pound-for-pound.   It will surely be the biggest fight in the history of boxing, no doubt about it.

Alex Ariza: Pacquiao will hurt Margarito

On the upcoming November 13 fight for the vacant WBC super welterweight title to be held in Dallas Cowboys stadium, it has been said that Antonio Margarito is having a big advantage against Manny Pacquiao.  Margarito is bigger and that is his main asset on the upcoming fight.  Margarito is also seeking redemption from his sloppy boxing career today because of his controversial fight against Sugar Shane Mosley.  Were he was caught using an illegal plaster.

Expert Alex Ariza, Manny Pacquiao's condition trainer said that Pacquiao will gain advantage for being small on their upcoming fight.  Ariza said that with Manny being small, it would be an advantage because for a big man to fight small guy, you have to make yourself small.  "It's no secret that Margarito doesn't move his feet, he doesn't move well, he doesn't move side-to-side and a smaller guy can create more problems than fighting a guy your own size who is there in front of you all the time" Ariza added.

When Margarito will be throwing a lot of punches, he also takes a lot of punches.  Pacquiao is quick and moves in every angle in the ring.  His quickness is the main advantage of Manny Pacquiao.  Ariza also said that "If Shane Mosley can hurt Margarito, I definitely think Manny can hurt Margarito," "He hurts you not only because he is strong, he hurts you because of the angles he throws punches from.  You don't see them coming and the speed and velocity accentuates the power and make the punches twice as hard." Ariza added, referring to Manny Pacquiao.

Mayweather apologizes for his racist video

Floyd Mayweather Jr. apologizes to Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and to all of his fans.  Mayweather Jr. is known for his trash talking behavior, but on the Video I have seen on youtube, a different Mayweather Jr was what I have witnessed.

On the video he was apologizing to every people he had offended.  "I do want to apologize for what happened the other night. I want to apologize to everybody because everybody thought that it was a racist comment that I said. I don't have a racist bone in my body. I have nothing but love for everybody," said Mayweather.   "Some of my guys are Muslim, some of my guys are Jews. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, whites, ... it doesn't matter. I got nothing but love in my heart," said Mayweather. "All I want to say is, if anybody was affected from what I said the other day, I apologize as a man. I was just having fun. I didn't really mean it." Mayweather was saying that he never meant it that way.  Well, all has been done and said.

So much for the talking.  Well what can we say? The damage has been done already.  Maybe his feeling guilty?  He deserve that guilt feeling.  Mayweather Jr. has gone far for his racist rant against Manny Pacquiao on the Video he made on Ustream.

Now he knows and is aware of his action, what can you say about it?  Why can't Mayweather just stop talking and bring the fight the fans wanted?  I guess what the people are saying is true, that the fight "Maynever" happen.

Roberto Duran's former Cut Man talks about Manny Pacquiao

I have been a fan of Fanhouse and I happen to see a video where Elie Seckbach, a Fanhouse host was interviewing trainer Ruben Gomez.  Ruben Gomez has worked as a cut man with Roberto Duran, an ex-world champion and one of the boxing greats.  Gomez is also the cut man of WBO welterweight, Pound for pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

Ruben Gomez talks about Manny Pacquiao on the said interview and who would win between Roberto Duran if they had to meet up in the ring.  Gomez also expressed his thoughts on Manny Pacquiao and Roberto Duran.  Adding up, Gomez also told Fanhouse who would win if Manny Pacquiao had to fight Mayweather, Mosley and his future fight with the Tijuana Tornado, Antonio Margarito.
