Manny Pacquiao No.1 in Yahoo Sports boxing

The Filipino fighting sensation is back on the top of the Yahoo Sports Boxing Rankings.  He regain the top spot due to Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s hesitation to fight him.  Manny Pacquiao earned the top spot for being so eager to fight anyone in the ring.  He ain't backing out on no one.  As long as their in the same division class and weight, he'll surely give you the fight.

The issue of Mayweather passing off the fight for their match up with Pacquiao on November 13 was the main reason.  He was also denying negotiations with Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum and HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg to which they insisted.

Boyz II Men wants to Jam with Manny Pacquiao

Boyz II men will be performing live in Araneta Coliseum this coming Friday.  Nathan Morris and Wanya Morris, two of the members of the group said that they will allow Manny Pacquiao to perform any song he wants.  What can you say about that?  That is indeed a cool thing.  I'd be happy to see Boyz II men live, how much more to sing with them.  That would be something.  As for Manny, I think he'll accept the offer.  We all now his pretty much game to do something new.

Nathan and Morris say that they have seen Manny Pacquiao sing while he was still in the United States, from one of his victory concerts..  They seem to love the appreciate Manny Pacquiao.  They find Manny Pacquiao really nice.  This is the fourth time since Wanya Morris visited here in the Philippines.  I could still remember that they had a concert here in WaterFront Hotel, Cebu about years ago.  Wanya said on his interview on his reply whether he got scared about the Zamboanga City bombing,   "I believe in one thing…that we are all protected by God," he said. "We try to bring the people's minds away from negativity and through our love songs, we want them to fall in love all over again."  Wanya plans to enjoy the rest of his days here in the Philippines until August 14.

can Don King make Mayweather-Pacquiao fight happen

I was watching a fanhouse  video from youtube.  The video featured Hall of Fame Trainer Freddie Roach and former basket player Josh Moore in an interview about the fight for Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.  

Days before, the news erupted that Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. is planning to sign for Don King.  Don King is known for his heavy weight promotions, like former boxing sensation Iron Mike Tyson.  If Don King would manage Floyd Mayweather Jr. he's going to let the fight happen and that is what he said.  For sure he wants that fight because that fight will cost a lot of money and I mean Big big money.  Here's what Freddie Roach and Josh Moore has to say, watch the video.

PACQUIAO DESERVES A WORLD CLASS FIGHT

Boxing fans have gone crazy knowing that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s fight would not come to life for the second time.  It may not be this year or maybe never.  At some point, Manny's stardom has risen to its highest.  He's been known as a Pound-for-pound since Mayweather left the stage of boxing from retirement.  With Mayweather back on the pace, everyone surely would want to see the biggest fight of the decade.  Both have been marked as Pound-for-pound but their should only be one.  If the fight had been set we will surely witness who of them both is truly the Pound-for-pound king.  All allegations wouldn't end if both fighter wouldn't meet in the ring.

Since Pacquiao's agreement to take random blood testing, Mayweather had never shown interest in giving him the fight anymore.  Pacquaio should have agreed on the first place.  But more over, Mayweather has given different reasons to which led the fight to crumble.  So much for the hype.

Boxing fans wanted to see Manny fight again and that fight is referring to a Mayweather bout.  But with Mayweather not giving attentions to the bout, Arum brought in Antonio Margarito.

Margarito is a great boxer if he had never been caught with that illegal wrap on his gloves, he'd still remain as one of the premiere boxers of this era.  But sad to say, his not that great after all the allegations.  The Manny Pacquiao and Margarito fight would have looked good after Margarito fought Cotto back on those days.  Where Margarito was feared and dominant in the ring.

Antonio Margarito has been  banned by the California Athletics Commission for the using of illegal substance found in his gloves with a fight against Sugar Shane Mosley.  To make it clear, banned for cheating.  If that was Antonio Margarito's special antics on the ring would he have beat Miguel Cotto if those plasters where clean?  Margarito lost to Mosley but Mosley was defeated by Cotto.  You'd be the judge of that.  

Moving forward with Manny-Margarito fight.  After all the allegations made by Margarito should he deserve another world title fight?  should Pacquiao settle for a rematch against Cotto or Marquez?  Or a title fight for the 8th belt against Margarito would be better?  Why settle for this fight when we could have the best fight their is and thats Pacquiao-Mayweather, right?  That should be the Pacquiao's next fight.

Pacquiao - Margarito Fight in Jeopardy

Emmanuel Steward a Hall of fame trainer said that Pacquiao-Margarito fight is at jeopardy.  Boxing fans has been complaining a lot about the said match up.  Steward believes that the reason why Pacquiao  wants to fight Margarito is for the 8th World title.  Margarito should not be rewarded with a title fight against Manny Pacquiao after being suspended from having an illegal plaster with his fight against Sugar Shane Mosley.  Manny Pacquiao should have chosen a rematch against Miguel Cotto.  The cheating Margarito doesn't deserve a title fight and that Margarito doesn't deserve anything at all with boxing.

Pacquiao: No Marquez fight

Recently Manny Pacquiao has been busy doing duties as a Congressman in Sarangani.  But it doesn't mean that he ain't going to fight at this moment.  He usually leaves all the fight to his promoter.  If the decision has been made by his promoter, then he'll gladly take the fight.  

Juan Manuel Marquez and Juan Diaz squared of on the ring days ago.  Marquez won the fight and just like he always do, calls of Manny Pacquiao as what he said on his press Conference after his fight with Diaz.  Marquez has always been chasing Manny to have that 3rd bout.  He believes that he won their second fight with Pacquiao that ended with a split decision favoring the Filipino Pound-for-pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

Jeng Gacal, lawyer of Manny Pacquiao said that Marquez is out of the picture as of this moment.  Pacquiao's camp is busy with their up coming fight on November 13 against Antonio Margarito.  Gacal also said that if Manny favors to fight Marquez for a third bout it has to be at 140, "Manny will find it hard to trim down to 140 now," Gacal added.

Should Pacquiao-Marquez deserve a trilogy?

Everyone knows that Juan Manuel Marquez has been chasing Manny Pacquiao to give him that 3rd bout he always wanted.  I give credit to Marquez for being so competitive in every way to Pacquiao. Not like some other boxer we know that have been avoiding Manny Pacquiao.  Juan Manuel is known to be a fighter, just like Filipino Boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao.  They have met twice in the ring and it was one of those thrilling fights in boxing.

After a good win against Juan Diaz last Sunday does Marquez deserve to battle it again with Pacquiao?  Sounds very intriguing right?  From the first time they met, it was controversial one.  The fight ended with a draw, but one of the judges admitted that he had a mistake on the score cards but it was too late, the decision was final.  The fight should have favored Manny Pacquiao if the score card was made right.  On the second time they met, Pacquiao won with just a hair line.  Juan Manuel Marquez thought he won the fight if it wasn't for the Knockdown definitely he'd take the prize.  The second fight is what hunted Marquez ever since.  He wanted to get another shot, but instead of Manny giving a trilogy he went up to fight in another devision.  Which also led Marquez to moving to the next division also.  Pacquiao has fight boxers on the higher divisions namely Ricky Hatton, Oscar Dela Hoya, Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey.  Four big names in boxing to which all fights where dominated by Manny Pacquiao.

Now, with Marquez's Diaz win do you think Pacquiao-Marquez will be as better as Pacquiao-Margarito?  For me, it would be great to see it for the third time just to make things clear to Juan Manuel Marquez that who is he dealing with now.  But it wouldn't really matter anymore.  The fight with Juan Diaz was a good win but not a great win for him to prove that he could be the next best opponent for Manny Pacquiao.  It would be waste, with Pacquiao's fighting career status now, Manny deserves to battle it out with the best and that is Floyd Mayweather.  None the less, it should be a Manny-Money fight.  But we all know now that it ain't going to happen instead we have a Pacquiao-Margarito on November 13.  If Pacquiao would still fight Marquez for the third time it wouldn't prove nothing anymore.  At this point Margarito is a bigger fighter and is more dangerous fighter but knowing Manny, he fights anyone you put in his weight class.  You bring something for him he'll gladly do it to entertain viewers.  That's what is boxing is all about.  Entertaining the crowd and the fans.  So for me, a Margarito-Pacquiao fight is better than a Marquez trilogy.
