Mayweather apologizes for his racist video

Floyd Mayweather Jr. apologizes to Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and to all of his fans.  Mayweather Jr. is known for his trash talking behavior, but on the Video I have seen on youtube, a different Mayweather Jr was what I have witnessed.

On the video he was apologizing to every people he had offended.  "I do want to apologize for what happened the other night. I want to apologize to everybody because everybody thought that it was a racist comment that I said. I don't have a racist bone in my body. I have nothing but love for everybody," said Mayweather.   "Some of my guys are Muslim, some of my guys are Jews. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, whites, ... it doesn't matter. I got nothing but love in my heart," said Mayweather. "All I want to say is, if anybody was affected from what I said the other day, I apologize as a man. I was just having fun. I didn't really mean it." Mayweather was saying that he never meant it that way.  Well, all has been done and said.

So much for the talking.  Well what can we say? The damage has been done already.  Maybe his feeling guilty?  He deserve that guilt feeling.  Mayweather Jr. has gone far for his racist rant against Manny Pacquiao on the Video he made on Ustream. 

 Now he knows and is aware of his action, what can you say about it?  Why can't Mayweather just stop talking and bring the fight the fans wanted?  I guess what the people are saying is true, that the fight "Maynever" happen.

Roberto Duran's former Cut Man talks about Manny Pacquiao

I have been a fan of Fanhouse and I happen to see a video where Elie Seckbach, a Fanhouse host was interviewing trainer Ruben Gomez.  Ruben Gomez has worked as a cut man with Roberto Duran, an ex-world champion and one of the boxing greats.  Gomez is also the cut man of WBO welterweight, Pound for pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

Ruben Gomez talks about Manny Pacquiao on the said interview and who would win between Roberto Duran if they had to meet up in the ring.  Gomez also expressed his thoughts on Manny Pacquiao and Roberto Duran.  Adding up, Gomez also told Fanhouse who would win if Manny Pacquiao had to fight Mayweather, Mosley and his future fight with the Tijuana Tornado, Antonio Margarito.

Pacquiao-Mayweather: Who needs Who?

In the recent Interview with Manny Pacquiao on ESPN, the Filipino fighting sensation told the press that "I don't need him, he needs me.. Compare my achievements in boxing to his achievements."  Manny Pacquiao was obviously referring to former Pound for Pound King Floyd "Money" Mayweather.  Mayweather holds an unblemished record with 41 wins with 25 knockouts.  His recent win was against Sugar Shane Mosley.  Manny Pacquiao on the other hand is known to be the Pound-for-pound King, right after Mayweather had retired.  Pacquiao has a record of 51 wins 3 loses 2 draws, with 38 wins via Knock out.  A seven Division world champion and the only boxer to do it.  Now Pacquiao aims for the eighth belt against the dangerous Tijuana Tornado Antonio Margarito.

Both fighters are known to be great.  They have entertained a lot of fans from their fights.  But the question still remains, who's the BEST?  We can never tell if both fighter won't be seen on the ring without a fight.

Now, speculations has been pointing at Mayweather for trying to avoid the fight.  Despite all the accusations that had been made by Floyd, it had cost him his reputation.  Some of the boxer even think that he needs to make the fight happen, it all lies in Floyd.  For they know that Manny had agreed to the terms.  Even though Manny Pacquiao's camp knows that this is a strategy that Floyd wants.  They took the gamble in order the fight to happen.

So who needs who?  Some people says that Manny doesn't need the fight anymore to prove his greatness.  Some people says that Mayweather needs to prove his skills in the Ring in fighting Manny Pacquiao.  Fans also think that Mayweather is afraid of that fight, because he is usually doing and pointing whom is he going to fight.  

I don't know what you are going to say about this post, but their is only one thing I want.  For the BIG FIGHT to happen.  Enough with the rumors, talks, and every thing else.  Just give us the fight.

Mayweather's racist video against Manny Pacquiao

I have read from different articles that Mayweather is saying some racial remarks about the Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao.  I searched youtube for the video, so I could hear it clearly what he just said.  The video was said to be recorded in the morning from his Las Vegas Mansion via USTREAM.

He was said in the Video that when he defeats Manny Pacquiao he'll let him to "make some sushi rolls and cook some rice." and "we're going to cook him with cats and dogs."

Comments were mixed in the popular news site Huffington Post:

Pacquiao-Margarito fight will be a WAR

Earlier today, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Tijuana Tornado Antonio Margarito had their press conference for the upcoming fight this November 13, at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.  A lot of people where there to witness both fighter.  Boxing fans showed support to both boxers.  Both boxers seemed to be excited on their upcoming fight.  This is going to be a big war.

Why the fight would be a war? it is simple, for both fighter is known for their offense.  They fight opponents with out worrying about their defense but they do it giving them off a lot of offense.  Margarito is known to come forward to his opponent, and Pacquiao is known for his speed and his aggressiveness to hit his opponent.  This will surely be interesting and exciting.  I expect to witness a lot of exchanging blows.  Though with Margarito gaining all the advantage, it'll still be war knowing Manny Pacquiao.

With Manny Pacquiao moving up to another division, their have been a lot of questions.  Would Manny Pacquiao's speed remain?  Can he handle punches from a super welterweight and can his punches have an impact on super welterweights?  Can he cope up with a much taller and in fact the tallest of all his opponent in his boxing career? Despite all these questions, I'm pretty sure Manny Pacquiao's camp knows how to handle this type of situation.  They have been their before, from De la Hoya, to Cotto then to Clottey.  Those fight where dominated by Manny Pacquiao.

We also know that their have been different criticism surrounding this fight.  Why wouldn't it be? Margarito is known for cheating and Manny Pacquiao deserves the best fight and that is with Floyd Mayweather Jr.  But we all know who is avoiding who.  That is why it didn't happen.  Boxers are known to entertain fans, not disappoint them.  Well, this fight is better than a NO FIGHT at all.  Every one can say what they really want to say.  You may hate or love the fight, its still going to happen anyway.

On this upcoming fight, Manny Pacquiao will take his best shot in super welterweight division.  This is going to be critical in Manny's career knowing that Antonio Margarito is the largest opponent that Manny is going to face in the Ring.  If Manny Pacquiao can win this fight, this is going to be his eighth world title belt.  No other boxer had every accomplished this much recognition and to add things up, only Manny Pacquiao has ever won seven division titles.

I am pretty sure this fight will be exciting, regardless with the gap and advantages that Margarito has, I know Manny Pacquiao will train hard for this fight, for he knows how dangerous Margarito is with or without the hand wraps.  Margarito will benefit so much with this fight.  This is his chance to redeem himself from all the controversy.  Perhaps this might be his biggest fight ever.

The Pound for Pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao has arrived to Los Angeles just hours ago.  Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is set to promote their upcoming fight against the Tijuana Tornado, Antonio Margarito; who happens to have a go signal to fight in Texas.  Fans of Manny Pacquiao filled the LAX airport showing their full support to the Filipino seven time World Division Champion.

The fight will take place in Dallas Cowboy's stadium in Arlington.  Manny Pacquiao will start his press tour for their fight on November 13 tomorrow, in Los Angeles.  Manny Pacquiao will then head to New York on Wednesday and on Dallas on Friday.
