Margarito - we have a game plan to beat Manny Pacquiao

On an interview with DiamondBoxing.com, the Mexican boxer Antonio Margarito also known as the "Tijuana Tornado", said that they have been practicing strategies on how to beat the Filipino boxing champion's speed, “Look, I know Manny is very quick, but we have a game plan and with that game plan, we will defeat Manny,” said Margarito.  Margarito's camp has been doing regimens that is said to help Margarito to win the World Boxing Council (WBC) super welterweight title, a division Manny Pacquiao will try to conquer for his eighth division title.


Margarito stated that he is very well prepared for the fight.  He his nothing but focus on his training, “Camp is going very well. Thanks to God that there haven’t been any injuries, the weight is perfect, my sparring is great,” he said. 

Unlike Manny Pacquiao's recent training camp which was said to be full of destructions according to Hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach, due to Manny's political duties as a Congressman of Sarangani.  Though Roach is still confident that Manny Pacquiao will be in best shape with two weeks more training in the Wild Card Gym.

As the day comes to close, Margarito is ready for the biggest fight of his career, for he is in need of redemption. This win would change how people would see him as a fighter regarding with the hand wrap controversy, according to the Mexican.  “I am extremely focused; this is the most important fight in my career. I have been given the opportunity of the lifetime, and I intend to take advantage of it,” said Margarito.
